Health & Safety Policy Statement

Integrity Shoring & Civil Ltd. is committed to its goal of a healthy and safe workplace for all workers, sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors. Through constant vigilance and following best industry practices and procedures our aim is to protect all those working within/for the company and give them the resources necessary to complete their tasks safely and without incident.

Integrity Shoring & Civil Ltd. will never reprimand its employees for exercising their right to refuse unsafe work. In fact, if any situation arises where an employee feels work to be unsafe, they are obligated to bring it up to their supervisor immediately. Pressuring employees to work in unsafe conditions or any form of bullying, violence and intimidation will not be tolerated and can lead to possible termination of employment.

All employees are responsible to read, understand and follow the policies, practices, procedures and rules laid out in the company safety manual. Management is responsible to ensure the safety of company employees by supplying employees with appropriate protective equipment and formal training, for the tasks required of them while in the employment of the company. Supervisors are responsible to provide all new hires with on-the-job training applicable to their role to ensure safe completion of their tasks.

Any infractions or deviations from the manual that result in unsafe acts or conditions, that can put company employees, equipment and/or property in danger of injury or damage will result in disciplinary action with possible termination of employment, depending on severity.

Sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors are to be orientated on all company policies, practices, procedures and rules before being allowed on site.
